About this card
Stribog is the god of the wind, the air, the breath of the sky [S1][S2][S4][S5]. In the Primary Chronicle, Stribog is named as the 'father of the winds' (he 'sends the winds') [S1]. In folk belief, the 'Stribog' is the wind itself, and the wind is sometimes personified as a deity [S5]. Stribog's role is clear (the wind-god) but his mythic biography is not attested [S4].
