About this card
Síd is a giantess who, in one account, is the mother of the eight-legged horse Sleipnir with Loki (in the more common account, Loki himself, in the form of a mare, is Sleipnir's mother) [S2]. This is one of the genuine variants in the parentage of Sleipnir [S2].
