About this card

Takemikazuchi-no-Mikoto ('Sword Thunder God') is a deity of thunder and war [S1]. In the Kuniyurinshi episode he is the one who throws the sword (Kusanagi) from the high land to the middle land, hitting the target and demonstrating the heavenly gods' strength in the contest with Ōkuninushi's side [S1]. He also plays a role in the Rock-Cave myth, where the assembled deities (including him) make the clamor that draws Amaterasu out [S1]. He is a martial, thunder-associated figure in the high and earthly realms [S1][S2].
