About this card
Tethys is a primordial Titaness, daughter of Gaia and Ouranos, and the consort of her brother Oceanus [S1]. Together they are the parents of the rivers, the oceanids (sea-nymphs), and the winds [S1]. She is a vast, maternal figure associated with the productive waters of the world.
