About this card
Andromeda is a princess of Aethiopia whose mother Cassiopeia (a queen) boasted that Andromeda was more beautiful than the Nereids; Poseidon sent the monster Cetus to ravage the coast, and Andromeda was chained to a rock as a sacrifice. Perseus, passing by, slew Cetus with the head of Medusa and rescued her, and she became his wife [S5].
